Seriously though I really love the simple things in life like going for long walks, holding hands, cooking, good conversation, petit fours, kids, the outdoors, long drives leading to nowhere, staying home to share dinner & a movie, flying a kite,forgiveness, a
good laugh, belief in a higher power, dunking my cookie in chai and trying to rescue the broken piece before it sinks to the bottom!
I also enjoy nice things, but 'things' are not the primary focus of my life. Things come & go, but I really believe that love can last a lifetime as long as two people respect each other and are willing to have an open & honest relationship. What good are all those things anyways if the love and romance just fades off between the two of us?
I do enjoy staying fit whenever I can, but sorry, I don't get to the gym 20 times a week & climb mountains on a regular basis (Unless Im wearing my cape & flying around the world chasing bad guys!) Really, I don't know how all these other guys do it? Sometimes work alone is all the exercise I need for the day!
Im a romantic at heart and I really enjoy quiet times with my wife & doing little things together. Material things are nice but its
definitely not whats most important in my life. I would much rather live a simple life and have love & happiness rather than being rich & miserable all the time, & I would much rather have a wife that I can adore rather than diamonds & gold!
I am so fascinated by the connectivity of the human spirit & I feel that it can achieve & overcome all obstacles if a person will only believe & have faith. Trust is a very big factor for me & I feel that without trust, two people will never be able to survive. I always see people that have little attraction or love for each other, & little more in common except for mutual responsibilities, & I wonder how they can live with each other like that.
I always dream about that girl who I would be so crazy about that I could hardly wait to see her again by the end of the day. I really believe that this is how two people should feel about each other. I also believe that life should be lived one day at a time.
Yesterday Is already gone. Nothing in this world can ever bring it back, & tomorrow is not promised to any of us. It is not our right to see tomorrow; it is only our privilege, & it has been given to us only by our Higher Power.
What we choose to do in our lives today Will affect what happens to us tomorrow. We can walk down the right path, or we can choose the wrong one. Our Higher Power lets us make that choice every day of our lives. I try never to forget that tomorrow is but a gift, & it is not promised to any of us. It is for this reason that I try never to take today for granted.
I am more spiritual rather than religious & I believe that I can find God in any place of worship, & in the narrowest corners of the world. I believe that there is truth in all religions & I dont believe that the only way to enlightenment is through one religion only. I believe God exists everywhere, & He is there for every single person on this planet if they just reach out to Him. I believe that God can be found in the hearts of all those who believe in Him no matter what religion they practice.
I work as a builder & Ive been doing it for 30 years now, but Im hoping to make a career change soon. Im passionate about my work but I want to be a writer and I have already started writing my first book. I am really good with my hands so I plan on illustrating the books too. (Must be the Pisces in me!)

I believe that my wife should consider us to be best friends, trust me. I am ready to spend the rest of my life with a very special woman, & I am looking for someone who wants the same.
Im looking for peace & love in my life, & I don't want to make big issues over small things all the time. I really would like to enjoy my life with a very special girl & look forward to every moment with her. Life is way too short to waste it away being miserable & just fight & bicker all the time. I would rather spend my life falling in love & enjoying our time together. Im just at a point in my life where I want to live in happiness without all the drama!
I dont want my whole life to slip by only to realize one day that I regret not spending enough time with my family; to me thats failure, not success! This world is such a beautiful place & I want to share as much of it as I can with the right person, not waste it being away from her all the time. Thats not the way to live in my opinion & no amount of money is worth that! I believe that its not the size of my house or the car I drive that defines me, but my integrity & honesty of purpose that does.
Success to me is coming home at the end of the day & meeting my wife at the front door as I hang up my cape :-) & seeing a smile on her face cause shes so happy to see me again, and behind her would be our daughter in her pink polka-dot dress, singing ''Daddy, Daddy look at me too! I Love You Daddy!''
I would know right then that every battle I fought in the world that day was worth it, & I would be the worlds greatest superhero, & I would know Im the worlds richest man, not because I came home with any great treasure that day, but because my greatest treasures were already there waiting for me at home the whole time!
Another important part of my life is music & theres rarely a day in my life without it. Im always singing (though Im not very good at it!) but it makes me feel a lot better! I live my life very humorously & laughter fills my life with so many wonderful things. I love to make people laugh & smile, and laughter brings so much joy into my life. I always try and laugh at the downfalls in life and I hope to find someone like-minded.
Im well educated, intelligent, well-spoken, and Im told that I'm a really good cook too! Im the type of person that if I give you my heart, youll have it till my last breath. Friends tell me that I'm the most Happy-Go-Lucky guy they know, and I intend to stay that way forever!
If you ask me what 3 things I want most in life, I would say that I want peace of mind, to fall in love, and to live happily ever after. Is that naive in this day & age, or does it only exist in Disney movies now?
